The Aw Naw Podcast team needed a logo for their brand new show, we were happy to help!
Once we had their logo designed, we were asked to do some graphics for various social media platforms. This included some templated images to be used as a starting point for original meme pictures they wanted to share. We worked closes with them to create funny, eye catching meme templates that they could replace text on. A great way to engage people online and grab their attention is by making them laugh. The Aw Naw Podcast certainly managed to achieve this very quickly and very well. We also were requested to create a few designs for merchandise.
Once we had completed the logo and social media graphics, we were quickly put to work to build a website for listeners to find the podcast as well as find ways to take part in the show. We also built up online quizes and an online shop for selling merch to the fans. Once the website was built we helped with Search engine optimisation, and advertising of the website and podcast to help spread the word.
The website was one of the quickest websites we have built. Not only that, it boasts some pretty complex features for what you’d expect to be a simple podcast website. The site allows people to go to the website and leave voicemails through the web browser using just your computer or mobile phone microphone. This allowed the show to interact with the audience by allowing them to submit voicemails which would be played during the next recorded show and answered on the show.
It also included a complex quiz system for fun where it calculates the answers given works out the percentage and gives a custom response depending on how good or bad the person answered the questions correctly. It also encourages people to share their results and for others to take part in trying the quiz too to see if they can do any better. Meantime, while this is all going on, the brand is getting free advertising by people sharing their results and encouraging others to try for themselves.
This was the first website we’ve built where we had to type ‘Scottish’ in a type it as it’s said fashion. It was extremely fun to work on the website and to this day we still maintain the website as part of our available ‘Updates and Maintenance’ package.
